  • Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office - Victim services representatives provide a range of free services including crisis intervention, emergency assistance, counseling referrals, restitution assistance and more.
  • California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) -  Victims of crimes often need help with the cost of medical treatment, lost wages, and other expenses. CalVCB can help obtain compensation for certain financial losses that directly resulted from the crime.
  • City of Monterey Park and Los Angeles County Victim and Survivor Resource Center - The City of Monterey Park and Los Angeles County have set up a Victim and Survivor Resource Center at the Langley Senior Citizen Center to support people in Southern California. The center is located at 400 West Emerson Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91754. The center is currently open daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and can be reached at 1-626-307-1395. Services offered at the center include mental health, crisis response, and victim support.
  • Los Angeles Area Pro Bono Directory - For those in need of free legal assistance.
  • 24/7 LA County Department of Mental Health Help Line (800) 854-7771 – Anyone experiencing mental health distress related to the mass shooting incidents at Monterey Park, Goshen, and Half Moon Bay, do not hesitate to ask for help at this 24/7 Help Line and through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Resource Center- Digital resources for the community, including tip sheets for parents, caregivers and teachers that explain how to help children cope with the emotional aftermath of a disaster. 
  • Access LA County Social Services:  Call 211 or visit www.211la.org for 24/7 help in finding disaster services, support or referrals you or your family may need during or after a disaster.
