Big Wins: 9 of My Bills & Safer CA Plan Passed the Senate!

Dear Neighbor,

At the Capitol, we have been working arduously to get bills across the finish line during House of Origin deadline week. I am happy to share that nine bills in my 2024 legislative package passed the Senate and are moving to the second house for consideration!

In addition, the Senate also approved a historic package of legislation, the Safer California Plan, to address the fentanyl crisis and combat retail theft and community-based crime. I am proud to support these bold bipartisan measures to help keep our communities safe.

Next in the legislative process, I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues in the Assembly to pass these bills and send them to the Governor's desk for his signature.

As always, if you need any other information or assistance, please contact my office at (562) 256-7921 or send us a message here.
