At the Capitol, the Legislature will convene on December 2nd for the start of the 2-year legislative session and newly elected Senators and Assemblymembers will be sworn-in, officially commencing their legislative responsibilities.
The Senate will also convene a special session to safeguard California values and fundamental rights. The special session will focus on bolstering California legal resources to protect civil rights, reproductive freedom, climate action, and immigrant families.
In addition, please take a look at some holiday resources included in this newsletter, like turkey giveaways for Thanksgiving, and opportunities to stay connected, such as our upcoming Holiday Open House.
