Windstorm & Wildfire Resources
Dear Neighbor,
As our neighbors most impacted by the ongoing fires face incredibly difficult circumstances, I am grateful to all our brave firefighters and first responders who responded quickly to the call of duty and are working hard to help protect our communities.
Our thoughts are with all the families impacted, and my team and I will continue to monitor the situation closely for any further developments.
While Senate District 33 is not within an evacuation zone, the National Weather Service has issued strong wind and poor air quality advisories for our area. To help you and your loved ones stay safe and prepared during these challenging weather conditions, my team and I have put together a comprehensive list of Windstorm and Wildfire resources. For those directly impacted by the fires, we’ve also included resources to access the latest incident updates and find assistance.
I am in ongoing conversations with the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, and colleagues at the federal, state, and local levels to ensure our communities are informed and supported with critical resources.
Lastly, I am thankful to President Biden for providing federal assistance to suppress the fires, and to Governor Newsom and our local leadership, volunteers, local businesses, and organizations working around the clock and doing everything they can to help.
As always, if you need any other information or assistance, don't hesitate to get in touch with my office at (562) 256-7921 or send us a message here.
