The Minerva Scholarship Program
- The Minerva Scholarship program was established by Women in California Leadership to support the advancement of women in the State of California. Launched in 2015, the foundation was established with the purpose of empowering women and enhancing the lives of women and girls. To this end, the foundation is providing scholarships to women of promise in order to help them achieve their educational objectives. There are over 100 one-time scholarship awards of $3,000 and one $10,000 scholarship available through the program. All applications must be submitted online by 11:59 pm on May 31, 2023. California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) Scholarship Program
- Applications are now open for the CLLCF Scholarship Program. The program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to meet educational expenses. All students selected will receive a $5,000 scholarship. The deadline to submit an application is June 1, 2023. For details, visit www.cllcf.org.
Frederick M. Roberts College Scholarship
- Named after the first African American Legislator in California, Frederick Roberts, the California Legislative Black Caucus Policy Institute (CLBCPI) Scholarship Program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses. Economic Opportunity Grant Program
- The LA County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) will disburse over $54 million across 6,800 grants for small and microbusinesses and nonprofit agencies through the new Economic Opportunity Grants Program (EOG), prioritizing the most COVID-impacted regions and organizations in LA County. Eligible grantees may be awarded between $2,500 and $25,000 in a phased roll out through the EOG. Grants for small businesses and non-profits are available now in Phase 2 of the program.
