Supporting the advancement of women in Senate District 33 and the State of California is something that I am very passionate about. As a mother and the daughter of immigrants, I can candidly share that the road to success is one of continuous learning and growth. This is why I would like to share this resource, in hopes that it will strengthen the path of our daughters, sisters, or friends on their own personal and professional journey.

The Women in California Leadership Foundation is currently taking applications for The Minerva Scholarship Program. This scholarship was set with the purpose of empowering women and enhancing the lives of women and girls. To this end, the foundation is committed to providing scholarships of up to $2,500 and one $10,000 scholarship to select women of promise in order to help them achieve their educational objectives. The deadline to apply is July 15, 2020.
