District Organizations Awarded CA Violence Intervention and Prevention Grants
Governor Newsom recently announced a $107 million investment in violence prevention grants to 42 communities across California, including organizations serving our district! The grants will support community-driven strategies to prevent gun violence, strengthen neighborhoods, and expand trauma-informed services, as well as proven local efforts to interrupt cycles of harm and create opportunities for youth and families. I look forward to the continued positive impact of these programs.
