Los Angeles County and the City of Long Beach will be conducting their annual Homeless Count events this month, and registration to volunteer is now open.   • My office presented a certificate to Jaime Enrique Michel Velasco, founder of Dulces de la Rosa, a candy company, for his philanthropic endeavors including most recently, donating funds for domestic violence and suicide prevention programs through Lynwood’s non-profit Federación de Clubes Jaliscienses.

Thursday, February 9 - On Thursday evening, we joined a drum circle music lesson held at Graham Library in Florence Firestone celebrating Black History Month! It was a fun event hosted by the County of Los Angeles providing a great music and arts opportunity for kids, parents and young adults!
