We recently wrapped up the end of the legislative session, and I am thrilled to report that we had a very productive year in the Senate. We finished strong with some major victories for climate, reproductive rights, expanding healthcare, strengthening our middle class, investing in infrastructure and housing, and so much more. Many of you are still trying to learn how to grapple and manage the situation.  Many of our families have to decide whether to put food on the table or pay rent.  This is why I’ve created a Resource Guide for the South East Los Angeles (SELA) region to provide you with a list of local resources that includes information about how to find a cost free testing site near you, locations for food distribution, and where to find a Tenant Protection clinic in order to save your home and avoid eviction.

Our Children's Day celebration got a rain check recently, but we are thrilled the event is taking place this weekend, and we can't wait to see you there for all the fun!
