Earlier today, I joined Senate President pro Tempore Mike McGuire and my legislative colleagues to highlight legislative initiatives targeting the rise in retail theft and the ongoing fentanyl crisis.
The fentanyl crisis has tragically claimed way too many lives, while retail theft threatens the safety of workers and hurts small and large businesses alike.
It is crucial that we support our families, employees, and businesses, at this pivotal point in time, by taking decisive steps to implement effective solutions. By working together, we can help make California a safer place for everyone.
