March has been designated as Women's History Month and each year the California State Legislature encourages Legislators to highlight and honor deserving women for service to their community. If you know of inspiring, women of distinction and service in your community, I want to know about them.

Open to all women who live in the 33rd Senate District: Bell, Bell Gardens, Cudahy, Florence Firestone, Huntington Park, Lakewood, Long Beach, Lynwood, Maywood, Paramount, Signal Hill, South Gate, Vernon and Walnut Park.
